After you have completed the Enrollment Process (Please procedd to the ENROLLMENT PROCESS , if you have not already done so), reviewed eligibility requirements, and have determined your dependency status, it's time to start the financial aid paperwork. The first form to be completed is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Before you begin, gather these documents:
Social Security Card
Driver's License
Your 2002 income tax return
Your spouse's 2002 income tax return, if married
Your parents' 2002 income tax return, if dependent
Records of other untaxed income in 2002
Your alien registration card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
A blank diskette (you will need to save your data)
Follow the detailed instructions on the IIA FAFSA page, which will link you to the FAFSA on the web
After you have completed the FAFSA, you will need to complete an online Entrance/Exit interview as instructed on the IIA Student Loans page
Next, you will be ready to apply for your student loans by following the instructions on the Student Loans page
