DIPLOMA - MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Medical assistants typically work in a physician's office or other health care facility performing various clinical and/or administrative duties.  This program provides the necessary training for entry-level positions in this field. DIPLOMA - MEDICAL INSURANCE BILLING & CODING

Medical Insurance Billing and Coding professionals analyze, organize and evaluate health insurance claim forms and handle coding of diagnosis, procedures, and therapies for billing. DIPLOMA - PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN

Patient care technicians provide direct patient care in a variety of health care environments including hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, and other clinical settings.  This program combines classroom and laboratory based instruction with extensive hands-on experience gained through externships in actual health care facilities.  Campuses:  Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson, Albuquerque

 
DIPLOMA - PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN
32.0 Credits - 720 Clock Hours - 36 Weeks

Phlebotomy Technicians perform a variety of blood drawing procedures and utilize techniques using standard equipment such as vacuutainer tubes and sleeves, tourniquets, syringes, and butterfly needles.  They also prepare, process, label and store specimens and samples.  This program prepares graduates to take a national certification exam and provides training for entry-level positions in laboratories, clinics, hospitals and other medical facilities.  Campuses:  Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson

 
DIPLOMA - PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Pharmacy technicians help licensed pharmacists provide medication and other health care products to patients. They retrieve, count, weigh, measure, mix and label medications. Other duties include pricing prescriptions, maintaining patient profiles, preparing insurance claims, and taking inventory of medications.  This programs provides the necessary training for entry-level positions in hospitals, clinics, retail pharmacies, nursing homes and other health care facilities.  Campuses:  Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson, Albuquerque
